Assignment

Posted by meerimmeerim

The phonecall came on a Thursday around 10 AM. It was August 28th 2014. We were both at work, I was in court and did not answer my phone. My husband got the wonderful news about the assignment of a healthy and cute little boy. I left court immidiately, we went to look at the pictures from Holt together.

I ACTUALLY DID IT! I went with my friends just expecting to have a good time while they sang, but then I actually said yes! I sang the Remix of Ignition by R Kelly, and it was so much fun!!!

Writing my bucket list.

Posted by SwartzSwartz

So, I just finished writing my bucket list and it already feels good. I'm only 19 years old, but with no friends and few family I can really get along with, I feel like I'm a 80 year old woman who's life just passed by without having any personal, emotional achievements. I'm done with that. This bucket list, even though I haven't finished anything, gives me the feeling that I'm ...

The Beginning For Me

Posted by BlackenedWings0BlackenedWings0

I'm a planner and organizer and saver by nature. But I have five kids and a husband, so for me this is a more frustrating task then anything else, lol. But at least I try. The problem this causes is stress and unnecessary worry. But lately life has made insane changes for us. It seems every year for the past year we have had to move to smaller spaces where ...

Boudoir

Thought my private space could use a facelift, so I bought new comforter set; also organization/storage is a priority right now. Purchased a 4-cube storage unit and assembled it myself. :)

Day 2: Talked to a Stranger

Talked to a stranger while waiting at the bus. Normally I stick to myself and don't interact. Interesting.

Day 1: Listen to Vivaldi

Posted by AllisonJaynesAllisonJaynes

I chose this while working on another goal (reading two books per month). In the opening pages of "The Glass Castle", the narrator "put some Vivaldi on, hoping the music would settle [her] down". I wasn't sure who vivaldi was, so I Youtubed and listened to "Four Seasons". Of course I had heard Vivaldi's music before. I just could never put a name to it.
