It is the highest point on Earth. Although it is a safe endeavor than it was many years ago, people still die. You can not be life flighted out. It is an extremely difficult and gutsy task. I must do it before I die. I may have to change this to the "The Seven Summits", climbing the seven highest peaks on all 7 continents. @ironnoon
