9 buckaroos have listed 'Learn Welsh' as one of their life goals:

I Am A Quarter Welsh Myself And Have Always Been Fascinated By The Language Ever Since I First Visted Wales When I Was Young And Noticed The Word "Araf" Printed All Over The Road Where The Word "Slow" Is Usually Sat In Order To Warn Us Of Our Speed Whilst Driving. Most Of My Family Are Welsh And Some Speak The Language But Are Unable To Teach Me Due To Being Too Old Or Too Far Away For Me To Frequently Visit In Order To Learn.

I studied Welsh at school, and got a C grade at GCSE. However in South East Wales Welsh isn't widely spoken, and I didn't really know enough. I forgot most of what I'd learnt. A few months ago however I started a Welsh evening course at my University. Here, more people speak Welsh. I hope to speak Welsh fluently one day.
