Im concerned about language loss but I am not sure what I should do to help. Learning an endangered language should help me understand human rights, property law, socio-linguistics and cultural identity.

I'm not sure which indigenous, endangered language I want to learn. I do want to learn some passable Quechua and Aymara, but they are not endangered. In addition to these, I would like to identify a highly endangered language in South America to learn and study and write about, perhaps adding to the literature on it.
