I did this with Nathan. It was the first thing that I saved up for that was an activity to try with my own money on a trip. We went to Brandywine in Northeast Ohio and it was a freezing awful winter. The day we planned to go it went unseasonably hot and dropped into the 50s. The snow was melting and it made the experience miserable. My board kept getting stuck in slush, I was hot in all the snow gear and after the lesson that we took, we went off on our own. I loved that it was something that was fun with Nathan, but it turned painful at the end. The first little hills that we tried were melting so bad that the board got stuck, I lost my balance and I rolled pretty hard. I wouldn't be surprised if that contributed to my neck issues today. I would never go snowboarding or try skiing because it was such a bad experience.
