I am passionate about history, my favourite book, The Historian covers a great deal of Istanbul and I have wanted to travel here for many years. The reason I have chosen 'during winter', is it often snows in Istanbul during Dec / Jan, and I love snow.

I am in U.S too many years. and now I am sufferring many health problems. I like to see after 19 yr. the city I born. No way I can effort this trip.even I can flight or not for my health condition.I am homeless and if some one get me one way ticket to istanbul I will pray to him / her rest of my life (not so long )

Constantinople once the eastern capital of the Roman empire. It's where the east meets the west, entwining many cultures into a dizzying swirl of the exotic and beautiful, enticing all senses, and embodying worldliness. It has be one of most fascinating places here on earth. But that's just my humble opinion.
