When I lived in Mcallen, I went over the progresso bridge quite a few times with Nathan and some members of the country club/Bonnie and Joe. We went to get discount prescriptions, shop and eat the best Mexican food at Arturo's. Back then in 2010-15...you could get the strongest and tastiest $1 margaritas right by the customs area. The food was amazing and I could buy Napales. They didn't have Arturo's in McAllen yet and it was a fun authentic experience.
