3 years ago this March 2016 i was diagnosed with a rare lung disease called PAH Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. It's incurable ... its just a matter of when my lungs or heart give out that i would need a transplant, but a transplant is not a cure it just helps prolong my life a little more. God only knows how long i'll live with PAH but I have hope and faith a cure will be found in my lifetime. I believe we all have a cross to carry in our lifetime that can learn from in some way or affect people in a positive way or inspirational way, but for some reason I believe this is my cross to carry and I will carry it the best way i know how. I just appreciate life more and look back at all the little things that were taken for granted that you don't realize till your not able to do them anymore without difficulty. Taking a shower or going to the restroom, or washing clothes or the dishes without being totally out of breath. Being able to go shopping which i can't do anymore with my scooter or wheel chair because I get out of breath to easily. It's the little things like that ,that people don't think matter but when your not able to do with difficultly anymore. So enjoy the little things while you still can. I just want to seize the moment while you can. I hoping I get to do the things on my bucket list before I'm called home. I want to make those memories because when I'm long gone my family can look back with a smile on their face of the fun we had making those memories to last long after I'm gone =)
