Training

Posted by sschwepesschwepe
Well it's Summer Time! So for most people that means swimming by the pool, relaxing, and eating as much as they can. But, not for me! I am in training to complete a Tough Mudder. I already asked my friend, Sara if I can join her group. Wish me luck :)

Planted Seedlings

Posted by amaolsonamaolson
I planted seedlings back in late April, and so far I've been successful in growing two thai pepper plants, carrots, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli. My lettuce and spinach wilted (one is on it's last leg), but because I am growing on my window sill, my options are limited.

First Day

Posted by sschwepesschwepe
Hey everyone! My name is Siri Schwepe. I am currently a 20 year old sophomore at Ohio University. I'm not much of a blogger but I thought this may inspire me to complete a bucket list that has been compiled in a my mind for a couple of weeks. I'll be sure to write more when things occur that interest me or which will interest you.

Balance of emotions

Posted by MrHakalaMrHakala

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
